One way to make money from music artists around you is Lyrics Distribution.

Making your lyrics available on major lyrics platforms and on major streaming platforms is a big challenge for many artists, but actually a very easy thing to do.

The major lyrics platforms are LyricFind, Genius and Musixmatch. And the major streaming platforms are Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, TIDAL and YouTube Music.

So how do you make lyrics available on these platforms?

I'll start with the lyrics platforms.

- To get lyrics on LyricFind, send it in a document to content@lyricfind.com. It takes a couple of days for it to appear there.
- To get lyrics on Genius, create an account with them, tap on "Add A Song," fill the provided fields and tap on "Submit." It appears there immediately.
- To add on Musixmatch, simply download the app, link it to your Spotify account, then play the song. Tap the "Contribute" option while the song is playing, add (and sync (optional)) the lyrics, tap "Send" and you're good to go.

Now, how do you add lyrics to the streaming services. Well, you've literally done that already.

- When lyrics are available on LyricFind, it automatically appears on YouTube Music.
- When it's available on Genius, it automatically appears on Apple Music.
- And when it's available on Musixmatch, it automatically appears on Spotify, Deezer and TIDAL.

(I don't know if Apple have switched from Genius to Musixmatch, but either ways, you're covered.)

Lyrics distribution is as simple as this.

If you want to make small money from artists, offer them "lyrics distribution" as a service, put a price on it, and you're good to go.
